July 3 - Patriotic Pizzazz at Hilltop Park. Be part of this one-day workshop with star-spangled crafts, red, white and blue
decorations and patriotic treats.

July 4 - The City of Monterey's Annual 4th of July Celebration. Flag Raising and Kick Off Parade begin at 10am at Alvarado and Calle Principal. BBQ and entertainment on the grounds of City Hall on Pacific Street 11am to 5pm. Free admission. Free carnival booths & games, face pointing and balloon artists. July 4 - Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Celebration BBQ. Celebrate the 4th with a BBQ in Caledonia Park. Great food and live entertainment.
July 5 - The City of Seaside & the Seaside Parade of Champions proudly invites the community to experience the 60th Annual Independence Day Parade. This Seaside tradition begins at noon and features the Watsonville Band, the San Benito High School Band, Sarah the 40 foot Triceratops and the 20 foot Tropical Fish. The parade route will start at the corner of W. Broadway Blvd. and S. Fremont Blvd. and travel to the corner of Fremont Blvd. and Harcourt Ave. For more information, please call 831-899-6805.
July 6 - Photography Camp at Divane' conducted by award winning Keeyana Donaldson. During this camp, Keeyana will share her knowledge in basic photography as
well as focusing on digital imagery.
This camp is best for ages 8 and above. Campers must bring their camera,
laptop and whatever photo editing program they have on their laptop. There
are free photo editing programs available to download in case the camper
doesn't have one.
Camp dates and times: July 6 to July 9 from 1-4pm.
The cost is $100.00 per session. Please call 831-620-0145 for

Summer Weekend Cooking Series 2009 located at 354 Orange Avenue in Sand City presents:
Toddler Cooking Class - Kid friendly foods are featured in this 2 hour class
Learn to make pizza, pancakes, fresh fruit salad and more.
One adult required per child ages 2 - 5. 10am to noon. Cost $20 per child.
Baking Fun for Kids -
Delicious breads, cookies and muffins are featured in this hands-on 2
hour baking class.
One adult required per child ages 6 - 13.
