May 12 - 12th Annual Marina International
Festival of the Winds in Marina. Kite flying, hang gliding,
wind-related kids crafts, live music and entertainment and food.

May 17 - 20 - Salinas Valley Fair Enjoy the atmosphere
of an old-fashioned county fair, complete with carnival, bull-riding,

May 19 & 20 - Castroville Artichoke Festival. Have
some fun sampling artichokes with musical entertainment, arts and

Kids Up Front & Free! Chamber Music Monterey Bay sponsors a free ticket program for Monterey County school children from 3rd to 12th grade. Children and their paying adult companions are invited to sit in the center front three rows at each of our concerts for an “up close and personal” concert experience. Adult tickets are $15 each or 2 for $25. All Monterey County music teachers are informed of this program, and are welcome to attend with their students for free.
