April 5 - Family Day at the Monterey Museum of Art on Pacific Street from 11a.m. to 4p.m. The Monterey Museum of Art invites families to celebrate the Museum’s 55th birthday. Admission is free for all. April 5 - Walk with Easter Seals Central California at Sherwood Park in Salinas for our Walk with Me for Disability Awareness & Resource Fair. The more, the merrier! Invite friends and neighbors to our family-friendly community event and help support a great cause. The day will start off with Easter Seals' signature Walk With Me as we walk to raise funds for disability services. Put together your own team of walkers, rollers and strollers and show your support. But that's not all - this year the event will be bigger and better than ever. After the Walk, enjoy a resource fair with dozens of community organizations and family-friendly interactive activities about disability awareness, puppet show, food, raffles and fun! April 12 - 8th Annual Earth Day Marina at Locke-Paddon Community Park from 9a.m. to 1p.m. Celebrate our planet and the city of Marina by working together on fun environmental service projects. Help remove invasive plants, plant native plants, paint benches & trash cans, put down mulch along the fence line & pick up trash. Volunteers will be provided a free lunch put on by the Marina Rotary and there will be over 25 booths with games, crafts and giveaways as well as interactive learning booths. Music will be provided by Bag O'Tricks. Register by 8:45a.m. at Locke-Paddon Park at Seaside Circle near the Marina Library. Bring your water bottle and wear long sleeves. April 12 - Hippity Hop to the Carousel Candies Shop on Old Fisherman's Wharf in Monterey. From Noon to 6p.m., 20% of proceeds from sales will be donated to Community Partnership for Youth (CPY).

April 19 - Bunny Breakfast & Easter Egg Hunt at the Rocky Han Community Center,
211 Hillcrest Avenue in Marina. 7a.m. to 11a.m. Bunny Breakfast, parade, basket and bonnet-making crafts and entertainment. This is a FREE event hosted by the Lions Club, Marina Kiwanis, Marina Youth & Arts, and the Volunteer Firefighters Association.
April 19 - Easter Bunny Hop Along at MYMuseum in downtown Monterey. Hop on over to MY Museum for a silly Saturday afternoon from 1p.m. to 2:30p.m. Get ready to shake your cotton tail and have a great time with your favorite friends at MYM! April 19 - 19th Annual Breakfast with the Bunny in Carmel. Each year on the Saturday before Easter, the Carmel Host Lions Club hosts Breakfast with the Bunny in Devendorf Park. The party is not an egg hunt, but a morning feast, games and other fun holiday-inspired activities for adults and children, alike. April 19 - 20 - Eggstraordinary Easter Egg Hunt at Roaring Camp in Felton. Hop on Board! The Easter Bunny makes a stop at Roaring Camp. After riding Roaring Camp's real 1880s Steam Train under the majestic Redwoods, over Indian Creek Trestle and through the Santa Cruz Mountains, your kids are going to have the time of their lives scavenging for chocolate eggs at the top of Bear Mountain. April 27 - Big Sur International Marathon - Hwy 1, Big Sur to Carmel. This marathon, consistently named the Best Marathon in North America by The Ultimate Guide to Marathons, is set along one of the most breathtaking routes in the world.
