July 4 - The City of Monterey's Annual 4th of July Celebration. Flag Raising and Kick Off Parade begin at 10am at Alvarado and Calle Principal. BBQ and entertainment on the grounds of City Hall on Pacific Street 11am to 5pm. Free admission. Free carnival booths & games, face pointing and balloon artists. July 4 - Pacific Grove Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Celebration BBQ. Celebrate the 4th with a BBQ in Caledonia Park. Great food and live entertainment.

July 5 - 10 - The First Tee Open Pebble Beach. The First Tee Open at Pebble Beach showcases the talent and character of young people who participate at The First Tee facilities worldwide. July 8 - 10 - Monterey National Horse Day at the Monterey County Fairgrounds. There will be many free horse show events, jackpot roping, barrel racing and Ranch National Team Sorting at the Pattee Arena at the Monterey County Fairgrounds. In
addition, there will be the crowning of the Miss Monterey National Horse Show on Saturday evening, July 9th. On Sunday, July 10th, there will be the Escobar Memorial Team Roping and Open Barrel Race starting at 8am. There will also be many fun Kids

July 16 - Kids in Motion Day at Del Monte Shopping Center from 11am to 3pm. Run,
skip, hop and jump! This free community event will feature an array of exciting activities for kids of all ages, including a Baby Animal Petting Zoo, Game Tables, Coloring Tables, Face Painting, Pony Rides, Story Time, Prizes, Singing, Dancing, and more!

July 15 - 17 - Sweet Pea Children's Consignment Sale will be hosting Monterey Bay's ONLY children’s consignment sale at the Craft Room (Inside Gate 4) at the Monterey County Fairgrounds, 2004 Fairgrounds Rd. Monterey. Friday, July 15th: 10am-6pm (Friday only: $5 admission). Saturday, July 16th: 10am-6pm, Sunday, July 17th: 10am-2pm, **12pm-2pm Discount Dash (marked items will be 50% off!)
