Tours at Wild
Things. Take a walk on the Wild Side at the Wild Things in Salinas. Daily public tours every day, 7 days a week - including all holidays except Christmas and Thanksgiving. 1pm only (there is an additional 3pm tour in the months of June, July and August ONLY). $10 per adult, $8 children (14 years and under). March 3 - Wilderness Wednesdays. Uncover the wonders of nature as you study plants, animals and their habitats at the outdoor classroom in the Santa Lucia Preserve. Age-appropriate lessons, activities and nature walks are designed with pre-K and homeschooled children in mind. Class subject matter varies with each session. 9:30am-11:30am, ages 3-6 years $70/$77 series. More information go to www.mprpd.org.
