March 1 - Decision Making for Parents: Nutrition and Vaccine Choices with noted pediatrician/author Dr. Bob Sears. Saturday, March 1, 2008 10am, Robert Down Elementary School Auditorium, 485 Pine Avenue, Pacific Grove. $10 per person or $15 per couple. Dr. Sears helps parents understand the confusing world of vaccines and helps kids grow up to be the healthiest they can be through good eating. Childcare available with pre-registration. On the first Saturday of each month, starting at 11:30am, Wild Things offers kids and families an opportunity to participate in creating a fun arts and crafts project prior to our daily tour. Arts and crafts are animal related and usually coordinated with the holiday of that month or special event happening at Wild Things. A fun, educational and entertaining opportunity for the entire family to spend quality time together. Reservations are required for this tour so we know what materials to have on hand. Craft projects are typically aimed at age groups between 4 and 11 years. Costs: Kids $20 (includes craft) - adults $15. Fees include admission to our daily tour afterwards.
