October 14 - Monterey House Tour: Homes from the Past in Monterey. This self-guided tour features some of Monterey’s most interesting and beautiful homes, representing a variety of architectural styles and tasteful interiors. Farmer Mike, “The Picasso of Pumpkin Carvers”, will transform a 700lb. Giant Pumpkin from Borchard Farms into a three-dimensional work of art. Costumed children are invited to have their photo taken with the Giant Pumpkin, compete in the Costume Contests, create pumpkin-inspired fare at arts-and-crafts booths, and trick-or-treat throughout the center at Del Monte Shopping Center’s 85 retail shops.
